This device comes with driver CD. Once the installation of driver is over a virtual com port is created on PC. It is powered by usb port, bi-directional, integrated USB to 4-wire RS485/ RS422 converter that can be used to convert any standard full-duplex USB port into a four-wire full-duplex RS485 / RS422 port and vice versa. The unit uses the latest FTDI chipset and is fully compatible with Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP.
